To get the month’s free dues the friend or family member signing up for a tennis membership must sign a 1 year contract. Knotty Problem~

Player A is about to hit a ball coming toward him. His opponent, Player B, sees a ball rolling in front of Player A and calls a let before Player A hits the ball.
What happens?

1) Player A hits a winner and wins the point despite the let call.
2) Player A wins the point because Player B called a let on his side of the net.
3) The point is replayed.

Three keys to this situation are:
1) Player B called the let before Player A hit the ball. If Player B waits to see what Player A is going to hit before he calls a let, he is giving himself two chances to win the point.
2) Player B was genuinely concerned about the safety of Player A and stopped the point.
3) Player B may call a let on the other side of the net if the let was not caused by Player B.

The point is replayed. Player B was acting out of sportsmanship and a concern for safety when he called the let. Player B was following “The Code” of tennis.
