March Junior News
Our Junior Programs are well under way. We have more sessions of Small Fries and Group Lessons. Please call the Sports Shop at 325-8652 for more details on the next sessions.
Congratulations to all the BRC juniors that participated and won the Club Cup for BRC. We won the 18 and under, 16 and under and 14 and under divisions. Thanks to all the parent coaches and parents for all their help. Also, a big thanks to Mark Windes for organizing and giving us the winning combinations.
Don’t forget the 59th Annual Central California Junior Championships coming up. Please make sure your entry is in. The tournament is slated for March 27th through March 29th. Remember that this weekend we will be using all of the Club’s courts. My recommendation, since one will not be able to play tennis, is to volunteer to help with the tournament. If you are free on this weekend and want to volunteer, call Jeff at 325-8652.
The Spring Break Camp is on Tuesday, March 30th through Friday, April 2nd. The camp is open to members as well as non-members. Juniors are welcome to stay and swim or play tennis after the camp until 5:00 p.m. Plenty of tennis, lunch and good times, so hurry and sign up. The cost is $160.00 for a full day.
Parents, summer is just around the corner and it is time for you to start thinking about summer tennis camps. Remember our camps are 5 days each week from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We offer 9 weeks this year to choose from.
