January JUNIOR NEWS

The Junior Christmas party was the largest in my memory with over 50 people attending. This year we had a magic show by the infamous Elton “Copperfield” Kelly and his lovely assistant P. Anne-derson Kelly again. This is the fourth year of magic show and they just get better and better. Mr. Elton captivated the audience of infants to adults for 45 minutes. It was truly magic.

Poor Santa had a very sore knee from all the kids telling him their Christmas wants and wishes. We really appreciate the fact that Santa makes the special trip down south to visit the BRC. We really appreciate you Santa.

For the fifteenth year in a row we decorated graham cracker houses and ice cream cone Christmas trees. I would like to thank Sandy Crider and her family for trying to help me build houses at the last minute when all the kids showed up. She rallied the troops to help insure we had enough houses for all the kids. I would also like to thank Cindy Hedberg and Neel Sannappa for their help making the Christmas trees. Thank you all very much. This is BRC PRIDE once again.

Our Spring Junior Tennis Instructional Programs will begin in late January and early February. Flyers will be out in early January and will be included in the Febru- ary bulletin along with the Spring Break camp flyer. Any questions contact the Sports Shop at 325-8652.
